The men of Heart O' Lakes Harmony are pleased to host the Red Carpet/Northwest Divisions Chorus and Quartet competion. The May 19th contest location is Kennedy Secondary School Auditorium in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, at 501 Randolph Avenue.

Ticket price is $15.00 for each guest and competitor. Lunch on site is a $5.00 full meal deal.
Heart O' Lakes Harmony is a fun group of men who sing together in harmony to preserve the four-part, a cappella music style known as barbershop harmony. Above is a picture from our recent Christmas Concert performance in Pelican Rapids. This was our first show in Pelican Rapids and the community has asked that we make this an annual event! We had 47 men on risers, including some guests who joined our regular members just for the Christmas concert. Proceeds were given to the local food shelf.
We are a local chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, an international organization of 25,000 male singers in about 800 local chapters across North America. Our members come from all walks of life, but we rarely talk about what we do for a living--we're too busy having fun singing! Locally, most of us are residents of Otter Tail and Becker counties.
Our director is the talented Chuck Speer, a professional musician who directs, teaches, and inspires us to make great music at every performance. We perform throughout the year, singing for various civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches, community events, and fundraisers.

We love to entertain and one of the highlights of our year is when we put on a major musical show in both Fergus Falls and Detroit Lakes. In 2012, our annual Show is called The Honkytonk Harmony, with great songs of the South. Our featured performers are top twenty quartet, VOCALITY, and internationally known pianist, Rebecca Davis!
Also, each year we perform "Singing Valentines" on and around Valentine's Day, which is an incredible amount of fun for both singer and recipient alike. In addition, in an effort to stay committed to singing excellence, most every year we compete with other barbershop choruses in a friendly contest.
